Cuero Papel & Tijera - Costa Rica

Sofia re-invented her grandfathers bookbinding business into a brand that bridges traditional leather crafting with a modern fast paced life. She takes inspiration from her grandfather who would throw a chocolate suede satchel (that he made himself) over his shoulder and cycle to work. Through her designs she translates this effortless style that is inspired by nature, yet fits perfectly into our everyday.

Cuero Papel y Tijera tells us a story of a happy Central American country whose west coast bathes in the blues of the Pacific Ocean and east coast soaks up the emerald hues of the Caribbean. Its mountains are covered by the greenest rain forests with rainbow colored toucans, and red splashes of tropical flowers.
Where coffee grows and where people are happy. Sofia helps us to infuse our everyday life with color and relaxed style so we stay inspired to enjoy the simple beauties of "pura vida", pure life.
