Last year for my birthday, we threw a Pot-lucky Pou and enjoyed it so much that it appears it's becoming a new tradition. The inspiration for it really takes me back to the New years I would spend abroad, visiting friends. Whether it was spend off the Lake of Lucerne cooking with a crowd to make fondue, or shucking oysters in the countryside of France, one key element made these moments so memorable. The chaos and laughter of having everyone in the kitchen, all working together in their own way to pull a fantastic meal together.
I've always seen my kitchen as a workspace. A place to hang out, be creative and make things. So much so, it has become a tradition for my birthday to throw a potlucky-pou. Guests were guided, as the title suggests...to bring something that you love to cook or that I love to eat ;) Now... a few of the key elements that will help you pull off one of your own!
