When I moved to the Netherlands of course I promised myself to #travelmyownbackyard and so we did. (Still do!) I have gotten to know that my new home is very diverse with so many gems to discover. A country that you can drive the whole length of in a couple of hours is actually full of surprises. One place that has really affected me is the Wadden Sea. An Unesco protected site of wonderous tiny islands. Windswept. Bravely staring into the North Sea. They are along the migratory path for birds and as the result a place where one can really witness the circle of life as it is born in the sea and goes on with the tides.
I was awestruck by these islands right away and for the past years I have been falling more and more in love with them and the Dutch North Sea Coast. The idea for a new brand began almost two years ago, even before I knew what product I wanted to offer.
